Jan has enjoyed dental assisting for over twenty
five years. She graduated from Luzerne County Community College in 1978, with a
certificate of specialization in dental specialties and
radiology. She has been employed with Dr. Holt since 1994 and
Dr. Tyson since 2005 when their practices merged. Jan is CPR
certified and attends continuing education classes with the
office. Her likes include music (you will often hear her
singing in the office), current and classic novels,
ACC basketball, walking and searching for that special
antique. She lives in Cary with her husband of 23 years and
two daughters.
Eileen
grew up in Fishkill, NY. She has been
working in dentistry since the age of 19. In 1994 she moved
to Holly Springs with her husband and 2 sons. She started
working with Dr. Holt as a dental assistant in 1995 and has been
front desk co-ordinator since 2002. She
enjoys cooking, traveling and socializing with friends.
Eileen is very happy to be part of this dental family!
Wendy
was born in Maryland but grew up in Ashville, NC. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill Dental School where she received her BS
degree in Dental Hygiene. She has fifteen years of experience
and has been with the practice since September 1999. Wendy
continues to attend dental education courses focusing on the latest
techniques in dental hygiene care. Wendy enjoys traveling,
singing ( you will hear her in the office), and spending time with
family and friends.
Janet
has been a dental hygienist since 1981. She has practiced in
Massachusetts, California and North Carolina. She moved here
in 1993 and soon became a patient of Dr. Holt's practice. She
has worked part-time for the practice for almost 14 years.
She balances her career in dentistry with a wonderful busy
family.
Jonnie grew up in Salisbury, NC and has lived
in Raleigh since 2002. She attended the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill and has a Bachelors of Science in Dental
Hygiene. Jonnie has been with the practice
since 2002 and maintains current CPR certification, as well as, the
latest continuing education courses. She and her husband,
John enjoy traveling, going to the gym, and spending time with
family and friends.
Barbara
was born and raised in New York and moved to North Carolina in
1973. She was introduced to dentistry in high school by her
childhood dentist and has worked in the field of dentistry ever
since. Barbara has been with this dental practice since
1983! She is our rock. Barbara is the mother to 4
wonderful children and is about to become a Grandmother in January
2008! Barbara enjoys gardening, sewing, painting and is quite
the competitive Bunco player.
Kim
graduated from the University of Pittsburgh/School of Dental
Medicine in 1983. She has been practicing dental hygiene for
24 years and has been licensed in Pa, Fl, NY and NC. She
worked as volunteer at the NC Zoo performing dental hygiene and
dental assisting procedures on the lions, tigers and bears.
Kim enjoys gardening, exercising, boating, water skiing and loves
the beach. She is an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Wolfpack fan.
She is married and has 2 children.
Stephanine went to college and worked as a
paralegal after high school before deciding to go into dental
hygiene. She graduated from Fayetteville Technical College and has worked as a
registered dental hygienist for 10 years. She started working
for Dr. Holt in the late 90's. She left for a few years and
has now returned part-time. She is married to her high school
sweetheart for 12 years and they have an 8 year old daughter.
